Ambassador of Argentina visited UKF
On February 22, 2022, Rector of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (UKF), prof. RNDr. Libor Vozár, CSc., was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina, H. E. Gustavo Eduardo Ainchil. Mr Ambassador was accompanied by other staff from the Embassy of the Argentine Republic based in Vienna – Minister, Ms María Fabiana Loguzzo and the Consul, Mr Martín Via. On behalf of UKF, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, PhDr. Martina Pavlíková, PhD., and Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics, prof. RNDr. Frantisek Petrovič, PhD. took part at this official meeting.
The subject of the work meeting was the international cooperation of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra with the universities in Argentina. During the friendly negotiations, other forms of international cooperation were envisaged and both parties expressed a sincere interest in continuing to develop bilateral cooperation between UKF in Nitra and partner institutions in Argentina.
In the past, UKF's cooperation with Argentina was also reflected via the lecture of Dr. Juan Ambalek (life of emigrants in Berisso, Argentina). In 2018, Vice-Rector Dr. Pavlíková visited the universities in Argentina, which was followed by visits of prof. RNDr. Frantisek Petrovic, PhD. As part of the development of bilateral international relations, the former Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Argentina, Mr. Branislav Hitka, visited UKF.
The result of international activities are the publications of prof. Mária Binetti with the staff of the Faculty of Arts of UKF in Nitra, namely with doc. Peter Kondrla and Dr. Martina Pavlíková, as well as the successful project Erasmus+ KA107 (Call 2020) with universities in Argentina participating in it.
