• Intercultural and interliterary communities, national and ethnic literatures and cultures, cultural communication and mutual cooperation in Central Europe,
• Research into the literary and linguistic traditions and language use of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia,
• Literary and linguistic translatology in the Hungarian-Slovak bilingual environment and European context,
• Contextual linguistics, linguistic geography and geographic research of the varieties of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia and its national language,
• Intercultural aspects in technical and literary translation, importance of translation in preserving and maintaining the literary heritage in the Central European literatures, translation strategies and translation of Hungarian literary works,
• Didactic concepts and the specifics of teaching academic, artistic and educational subjects in the context of national (Central) European professional education,
• Cultural and historical potential, current theoretical and methodological aspects of regional development of tourism in the ethnically mixed border zones in the Central European area,
• Issues of cooperation in regional tourism between the public and private sector on the local and regional level, cross-border cooperation, cooperation in targeted areas – destinations, marketing and management of destinations.
