- Contextual linguistics, linguistic geography and geographic research of the varieties of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia and its national language,
- Intercultural aspects in technical and literary translation, importance of translation in preserving and maintaining the literary heritage in the Central European literatures, translation strategies and translation of Hungarian literary works,

- Cultural and historical potential, current theoretical and methodological aspects of regional development of tourism in the ethnically mixed border zones in the Central European area,
