The University Pastoral Center of Paul Strauss in Nitra (UPC) was founded in December 2008. Its main aim is to provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to the students and staff of the Nitra universities, other institutions and university dormitories.

UPC organizes regular formative, liturgical, cultural and leisure activities. It focuses mainly on the spiritual renewal, extension of academic education with Christian values, spiritual guidance and counseling, and it provides space for the friendly meetings of believers and non-believers among the students and staff.
