Musical Aesthetics and Semiotics, Music Production

Brief characteristics

Heuristic research of creative dimension of music perception and original theory of musical correla(c)tivity focused on mutual correlation of poly-dimensional musical work of art and multidimensional (un)consciousness of listener. The history of non-conventional musical culture in Slovakia since 1980s. Innovative semiotics of music and innovation of education methods of music semiotics on high schools. Original, internationally valuated creation of contemporary non-conventional music.

Most significant results/findings

Cooperation with Prof. Eero Tarasti (University of Helsinki, Finland), President of IASS on Musical Signification Project in which several professional scientific works of the research team leader have been published in the edited proceedings, as well as the monographic scientific publication in the renowned edition of Acta Semiotica Fennica "Various Comprovisations" (2015). Cooperation with  Prof. Ivo Medek, Rector of Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic.  International acceptance of research on theory of musical correla(c)tivity and music komprovisation. The cooperation with prestigious musical ensembles (The California EAR Unit, United States; Palinckx, Netherlands/United Kingdom), and with the artists and composers (Jon Rose, Australia; Verya Weston, United Kingdom; Franz Hautzinger, Austria; Zsolt Sörés, Hungary; Ludivine Allegue,  France; Vladimír Merta, Jana Lewitová, Jan Kavan, Mikoláš Chadima, David Šubík, Ivan Acher, Czech Republic), among many others.
