On February 19, 2024, the Vice-rector for international relations of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, doc. PhDr. Martina Pavlíková, PhD., and the dean of the Faculty of Arts, prof. PhDr. Martin Hetényi, PhD., received a delegation from Badji Mokhtar – Annaba University in Algeria, led by the Vice-rector for international relations, prof. Hocine MAOUI, and prof. Mohamed Yazid Bendjeddou. The working meeting took place within the framework of project 2022-1-SK01-KA171-HED-000078497 (Key action 1 - Educational mobility of individuals/University mobility projects between program countries and partner countries). The mobility of professors from Badji Mokhtar - Annaba University is part of a three-year mobility project of teachers and students of both universities.

The working negotiations were carried out in a friendly and open atmosphere, and the representatives of both universities expressed their support for the expansion of cooperation to other departments and faculties.

In the previous months, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra was visited by four teachers from Annaba, namely Souad Rahmouni, dr. Meriem Chebel, dr. Rahil Dellali and prof. Fella Benabed. In addition to ongoing teacher mobilities, there are currently four students from Annaba, Amira Gouasmi, Ghalia Bendjeda, Fares Ahmouda and Raid Attab, on internship at the Department of English and American Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

Thanks to the cooperation between doc. PhDr. Mária Hricková, PhD. from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and prof. Fella Benabed, Badji Mokhtar - Annaba University is an active partner of CPU in Nitra also in the project KEGA 009UKF-4/2022 Poetry as lingua franca - effective approaches to teaching poetry as a vehicle for personal growth within the context of international cross-cultural communication and in the project Erasmus+ 2022- 1-SK01-KA220-SCH-000085134 Fostering Students' Interdisciplinary Competence through the Action-Oriented Approach and Collaborative Online International Learning.
