Scientific research and international cooperation
Scientific research and international cooperation are the basic pillars of every university's existence. Teachers from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, specifically doc. ThDr. Ľubomír Hlad, PhD. (Department of Religious Studies, Faculty of Arts, CPU) and RNDr. Lucia Petrikovičová, PhD. (Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Regional Development, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics, CPU) in collaboration with colleagues from Slovakia, Poland, Czechia and Spain published studies in prestigious database journals.
A study on the issue of the covid-19 pandemic entitled The Phenomenon of Social and Pastoral Service in Eastern Slovakia and Northwestern Czech Republic during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Comparison of Two Selected Units of Former Czechoslovakia in the Context of the Perspective of Positive Solutions was published in the journal International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (ISSN 1660-4601), (IF 3.390, Q 1). The results of international research in the field of further education were presented in a study entitled The Quality of Life among University of the Third Age Students in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus, which was published in the journal Sustainability (ISSN: 2071-1050) (IF 3.251, Q 2).
It is positive that interfaculty teams are being created within our university, which have resulted in internationally accepted impacted publishing activities. Congratulations to a colleague from our university.
