International cooperation with Financial University in Moscow

Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federating have successfully completed the work on the joint students’ scientific project «Academic environment in terms of global digitalization (the evidence from Slovakia and Russia)» under the supervision of Vice-Rector for International Relations Dr. Martina Pavlíková in close cooperation with professor Daša Munková (Faculty of Arts) and Professor Alena Hašková (Faculty of Education). The results of scientific investigations were presented at online meeting to the experts (the professors from the Financial university) on June, 23 2021.
The findings were revealed in the report prepared by Slovak students from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Translation Studies (Jana Boltiziar, Veronika Mala, Zuzana Badova, Anna Reutenko and other students of Faculty of Education and Faculty of Arts) and their scientific supervisor professor Dasa Munkova, and a student from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Chemistry Mgr. Barbora Tokarova.
The investigations of the students have a scientific value. The participants managed to identify and describe the main transformations, changes and transaction challenges in the academic environments of Slovakia and Russia in the times of global digitalization. The participants of the project have found out that the main areas that academic institutions should focus on to benefit from digitalization are as follows:
technology adoption and digital collaboration strengthening; upgrading teaching and researching mission with the view of technological advances; developing competitiveness by embracing technology innovations and shifting academic activities to the digital work-zone.
The experts noted that the project was carried out at a good academic and scientific level, contains an in-depth analysis and review of scientific literature and corresponds to the set goal and objectives. Experts recommended the participants to continue work on this theme next academic year.
This international collaboration was highly appreciated by rector of Financial University Under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow Professor Mikhail Eskindarov who sent A Letter of Appreciation to Professor Libor Vozár, rector of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.Professor Mikhail Eskindarov hopes for long-term scientific projects in the future and mutually beneficial international cooperation with Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
Initial international cooperation between UKF in Nitra and Financial University in Moscow was started by Professor Roman Králik in 2017 in the field of educating students at universities.
