Accommodation for students from COVID-19 high-risk countries
UKF provides the possibility of home isolation at Zobor Student Dormitory to foreign students who have been during the past 14 days to the country that has been declared as a COVID-19 high-risk in accordance with the current measures of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic.
Each foreign student arriving to the Slovak Republic from COVID-19 high risk country is obliged to register online and fill in the form at https://korona.gov.sk/ehranica/#
Measures for entering home isolation at Zobor Student Dormitory (ŠD Zobor):
- The student must be allocated accommodation for the academic year 2020/2021 at UKF Student Dormitories (ŠD Zobor or ŠD Nitra) or in the contracted accommodation facilities of UKF (Agroinstitute Hotel or Student Dormitory of the Secondary Vocational School of Food).
- The student who has been allocated accommodation at UKF must pay an accommodation deposit and a fee for the month of September.
- The student has to fulfil the accommodation registration via the electronic form no later than by August 27, 2020.
- The student will start home isolation in the period from 1st to 8th of September 2020, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The home isolation will be provided only to UKF students (not to their family members) and will be held at Zobor Student Dormitory in the block B and the block H.
- Upon starting the home isolation, the student is obliged to show a negative coronavirus test from the home country (confirmation of the negative test) RT-PCR for COVID-19 disease not older than 96 hours.
- The surcharge for accommodation services at home isolation is set at € 20 / week and the fee for catering services (breakfast-lunch-dinner + drinking regime) during home isolation is set at € 8.59 / day. The fee is to be paid upon starting the standard accommodation after completing the home insolation.
Important notice:
If student does not start the home isolation by September 8, 2020, the implementation of home quarantine at a later date at UKF will not be allowed and the student is obliged to manage it separately.
