On October 8, 2019 the Rector of UKF in Nitra, Prof. Libor Vozár, welcomed Prof. Elžbieta Skorupska-Raczyńska, Rector of the Academy im. Jakuba z Paradyža in Gorzow Wielkopolski. Rector Skorupska-Raczyńska explained to Rector Vozár the education system in Poland and fields of study at the Academy.
During their working meeting, they discussed opportunities for enhancing international cooperation in academic fields via international conferences, joint scientific publications, workshops and the Erasmus+ project. UKF is proud to have a thriving cooperation with this Polish academy in the areas of humanities and philosophy.
Since UKF and the Academy im. Jakuba z Paradyža provide their students with several similar study programs, there is an opportunity to cooperate within the Erasmus+ scheme in students' and teachers' exchange stays, mass media communication, education, physics, tourism and foreign languages studies.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of both institutions signed a bilateral agreement on international academic cooperation – a Memorandum of Understanding. The Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr Martina Pavlíková, also participated at the meeting.
