Cooperation with Udmurt State University
In September 2019, representatives of Udmurt State University in Izhevsk, Russia, paid a visit to Constantine the Philosopher University (UKF) in Nitra under the Erasmus+ KA107 scheme.
Prof. Natalia Kondrateva, Dean of the Institute of Udmurt Philology, Finno-Ugric Studies and Journalism and Assoc. Prof. Dimitrii Efremov, Head of the Department of Journalism were welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr Martina Pavlíková. Dr habil. Žofia Bárcziová, Dean of the Faculty of Central European Studies at UKF, Dr habil. Ildikó Vančo, Vice-Dean for Foreign Relations, and Dr habil. István Kozmács, from the Institute of Hungarian Linguistics and Literary Science also participated at the working meeting.
Dean Bárcziová discussed with Vice-Rector Pavlíková about cooperation between the Faculty of Central European Studies at UKF in Nitra and Udmurt State University in Izhevsk. Thanks to this successful cooperation between the institutions, Vice-Rector Martina Pavlíková was given a letter of thanks addressed to the Rector of UKF in Nitra, Prof. Libor Vozár, from the Rector of Udmurt State University in Izhevsk, Prof. Galina V. Merzlyakova.
Prof. Kondrateva expressed gratitude to Dr Pavlíková for international cooperation in the academic field. Vice-Rector Pavlíková promised to extend the cooperation by involving Udmurt State University in the next Erasmus + KA107 project application. The exchange stays would enable more teachers and students from Udmurt State University to come to UKF, and thus to develop mutual international cooperation between the institutions.
