Visits to the university and the Slovak Embassy in Skopje
In August 2019 the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr. Martina Pavlíková, accepted an invitation from Ambassador H. E. Henrik Markuš to visit him at the Slovak Embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia. They discussed the ongoing cooperation between UKF in Nitra and universities in Macedonia. The Ambassador was pleased to accept specific proposals from the Vice-Rector for enhancing cooperation and involving UKF's faculties in joint activities.
On the following day, Vice-Rector Pavlíková negotiated with the Rector of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Prof. Nikola Jankulovski. Both university representatives underlined the necessity of developing international cooperation. They also appreciated the joint monograph Culture in Transition Countries, initiated by Prof. Maja Jakimovska Tošic, who also took part in the negotiations. Rector Jankulovski accepted an invitation from UKF's Rector, Prof. Libor Vozár, to participate at the solemn ceremony of the 60th anniversary of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra in October 2019.
Both meetings took place in a friendly and creative atmosphere. We believe that they will produce excellent results and enhance mutual cooperation between the two universities.
