Bilateral agreement with an American partner being signed
Thanks to both the Erasmus KA 107 project and the successful negotiations of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr Martina Pavlikova, with the President of Piedmont College, Mr James Mellichamp, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Piedmont College, Dr Daniel Sil, a bilateral agreement between UKF Nitra and Piedmont College (Georgia, USA) has been signed.
Dr Webb Carson, a researcher visiting Slovakia under the KA 107 project, met with Dr Pavlikova and other staff of the Kierkegaard Institute, namely Dr Gabašova and Dr Petkanič. Together with the Director of the Central European Research Institute of Soren Kierkegaard, Prof Roman Kralik, they agreed upon particular collaboration which would result in another publication under the Acta Kierkegaardiana project (Scientific and Research Project of the University of Toronto – Prof Abrahim Khan).
This is the first bilateral agreement between academic institutions at the Rector´s (President´s) Office level in the history of UKF Nitra and the result of the activities and efforts of Dr Pavlikova and her colleagues.
