The solemn launch of the publication in Skopje
On February 15th 2019, commemorating the 1150th anniversary of the death of Constantine the Philosopher, the solemn launch of ´Culture in Transition Countries ´ monograph took place in Skopje.
The monograph is the result of international scientific collaboration between the Department of Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Arts of the CPU in Nitra and the Institute of Macedonian Literature of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
The author of this scientific achievement concept is prof. ThDr. PaedDr. Roman Králik, ThD. in cooperation with prof. Maja Jakimovská-Tošič. Other pedagogues from the Department of Cultural Studies of CPU participating in scientific work - which presents the results of interdisciplinary research on cultural aspects in transforming countries - were the following: doc. Mgr. Miroslav Ballay, PhD., Mgr. Katarína Gabašová, PhD., Mgr. Kristína Jakubovská, PhD., Mgr. Erika Moravčíková, PhD., Mgr. Veronika Moravčíková, PhD., Mgr. Jozef Puškár, and Mgr. Lucia Valková. Mgr. Katarína Gabašová, PhD. was one of the two editors of the monograph.
At the launch, prof. Nikola Jankulovski, Rector of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Henrich Markuš, the Slovak ambassador to Macedonia, prof. Maja Jakimovská-Tošič, Head of the Institute of Macedonian Literature in Skopje and doc. PhDr. Martin Hetényi, PhD., Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Arts authorized by the rector of CPU, prof. RNDr. Libor Vozár, CSc., to represent the University on his behalf, delivered their speeches.
The Rector, prof. Nikola Jankulovski, honoured our university with a special award – a letter of thanks – which represents testimony and realization of the close cooperation of the given institutions not only in the publication being presented or in the reflection of Cyrillo-Methodic work, but also in other areas, especially literary science, linguistics, history, philosophy, and cultural studies. Rector Jankulovski expressed his conviction that this fruitful and favourable institutional cooperation will continue.
