The Ambassador of the Netherlands visited CPU
On February 12th 2019, the Rector of CPU, prof. RNDr. Libor Vozár, CSc., received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Slovakia. H.E. Henk Cor van der Kwast was accompanied by the political secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Ondrej Križko.
The Vice-Rector for International Relations, PhDr. Martina Pavlíková, PhD., participated fully at the official working meeting. She informed the Ambassador about international cooperation between CPU and the Netherlands in Erasmus + projects, in the European Association of Schools of Social Work, in SocNet98 - European Network of Universities / Schools of Social Work and other project activities of CPU in the Netherlands.
The Rector of CPU informed the Ambassador about study programs at the University and its history. H.E. Henk Cor van der Kwast expressed his gratitude for the lecture given to the students of the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Arts which took place during the winter term 2018/2019. He also expressed his great satisfaction with the fruitful discussion following the lecture.
At the end of the negotiations, new opportunities and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Slovakia and the Netherlands in the field of education, science and research – as well as in the area of cultural and social affairs – were put forward.
