Cooperation with the University of Granada
From 25th to 29th February, University of Constantine the Philosopher was visited by José García Martin from the University of Granada (Universidad de Granada) in Spain. He was welcomed and received by vice-rector for international relations PhDr. Martina Pavlíková, PhD. They discussed opportunities for further grant and publishing cooperation, which has already proven to be successful and fruitful.
Our students took part in Prof. Martin´s lecture Ethics of Motivation from the Philosophical Perspective of Soren Kierkegaard. After the lecture, pedagogues from our University, prof. Cyril Diatka, doc. Martin Štúr and prof. Roman Králik met with prof. Martin and took part on the work meeting. The cooperation with the University of Granada has been flourishing for 10 years and prof. Martin had been awarded a Memorial Medal of the University of Constantine the Philosopher for his efforts at the advancement. The award was passed to him in 2010, on occasion of Kierkegaard conference, by prof. Zdenka Gadušová, at the time a Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
The cooperation with the University of Granada has been developed mostly by invitations to lectures, common scientific monographs, joint publications of scientific papers in databased journals and conferences organized by the Central European Research Institute of Soren Kierkegaard (www.ceri.sk) and the University of Granada.
