UKF among the best Slovak universities in URAP 2017/18
According to the latest URAP rankings, University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra is one of the top nine Slovak universities. URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) is a Turkish rank prepared by the Institute of Computer Science at Middle East Technical University. It primarily focuses on the research performance of universities, evaluating 2,500 universities, which represents approximately 10% of universities in the world. URAP ranking summarizes academic activities and overall performance of universities according to six criteria. In the 2017-2018 ranking, there were 4,000 universities evaluated, of which 2,500 passed to further ranking. The total score comprises evaluation of 6 criteria: the number of articles in 2016, and for the period 2012-2016 the number of all citations, the number of all publications, the impact of articles, the impact of citations and international scientific cooperation.
Thus, URAP ranking is one of the most extensive rating systems for the quality of universities with the highest number of publications. The University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra ranked 790th in Europe and 9th in Slovakia in the URAP 2017-2018 ranking.
