Dagmar Marková from UKF Nitra one of newly appointed professors
On Thursday, 18 May 2017, President of the Slovak Republic Andrej Kiska appointed 30 new University Professors at the Presidential Palace. Among them, in the field of Ethics, docent Dagmar Marková, PhD., member of the Department of General and Applied Ethics, Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (abbrev. as UKF).
In his address, the President emphasized the important role of newly appointed professors in aiming for highest standards of higher education; the need and demand of high quality education, science and research in Slovakia identify the role of newly appointed university professors essential and crucial. In this effort, the President wished them good luck and unceasing energy, bright ideas in academic life, as well as all the best in their personal lives.
