Chinese language courses for the first time at our university
On February 13, 2017 Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra opened the first classes of the Chinese language courses. The courses will take six semesters and will be led by Professor Zhang from China.
"These courses are the first activity organized within the bilateral agreement of cooperation signed between Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and Confucius Institute in Bratislava. Bilateral agreement created scope for cooperation in various fields of education," informed Ing. Anita Ivanková, PhD. from the International Relations and Mobility Office which coordinates the course in cooperation with the Language Centre and the Department of Political Science and Eurasian Studies of the Faculty of Arts of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. "Chinese language courses arose interest of a large number of our university students and staff in learning this special language through which participants have the opportunity to get familiar with another culture as well. In cooperation with the Confucius Institute in Bratislava we would like to implement summer schools for Chinese students in the future."
