Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care joins President´s delegation
Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, associate professor Rastislav Rosinský, PhD., took part in a business trip to Scotland as a member of President Andrej Kiska´s team of experts. The visit was organized upon the invitation of Prince Charles aiming at enhancing efforts to solve problems of economically backward regions of Slovakia. Charles, Prince of Wales, accompanied the delegation during their visit to Requalification centre in Scotland, one of the most successful retraining centres in the United Kingdom devoted to combating long-term high unemployment. These centres are aimed at developing practical experience in the hotel industry, gardening, crafts, and other areas that have in the region long-term perspectives to strengthen employment. Dean of the Faculty, assoc. professor Rastislav Rosinský, was invited to join the president´s delegation as one of the most respected experts in this field: his expertize goes back to a series of successful research projects at national and international levels, as well as to several fellowships at distinguished universities in Europe. He is also a member of several European committees devoted to problems of marginalized Roma communities.
