Faculty of Central European Studies
Profile
The Faculty of Central European Studies is the youngest faculty of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The faculty was established in 2003 with the intention to continue the long-lasting tradition of training basic and secondary school teachers in Hungarian language. The effort of the faculty is also focused on the preparation of the specialists in the field of culture, public administration, regional policy, economy and tourism, who are able to support the development of the regions with the mixed population in the process of the European integration.
Study programmes
Faculty of Central European Studies is oriented on education of national minorities, teacher training for school with Hungarian language of instruction, tourism, Central European area studies, Hungarian studies and translation and Finno-Ugric studies. Study offer is determined for those who are interested in history and culture of Central European nations.
